Condo Kitchen Makeover

She's beauty and she's grace. She's where the Friendsgiving magic happens. She deserved a glow up.

Let's start with the before: my kitchen when I saw my condo for the first time. Lovely bones as they say.

The first thing to change was the hardware and a faucet upgrade. Next was the lights. My brother generously converted the sink overhead lights to these Crate & Barrel pendants.

Design is a journey. Sometimes you nail it on the first try, sometimes it takes a few attempts. But the journey is what makes it yours, and you learn along the way. This is the story of my cabinets. I first painted them myself two attempts at a light grey. But something about it never felt right.

The lesson here is go with your gut. If it's not right, it's not right. I hired an amazing painter and went with Railings by Farrow & Ball. It's perfect. The final touch: a new KitchenAid fridge and oven.
